The group lingered in the Pavillion a little longer, savoring the last of the wine and watching sunlight drift in through the tall windows, casting shifting patterns across the table. When the time came to leave, Nate and his party made their farewells, promising to return soon to finalize details and meet with the workers as Lujia suggested.
