While the vishkanya were running to battle with the undead and shades, Nate moved and began using his runic magic to place a barrier on the floor, and then stood on some rubble to place runes on the ceiling. In an instant, a dazzling light flooded the area, eliciting a collective response as everyone shielded their eyes to mitigate the intensity of the brightness.
