The sun was low, casting an amber hue upon the vast, untouched landscape of Gamora as I approached its borders. Every fiber of my being tingled with anticipation. I had half-expected barriers or alarms, given the enmity between my kind and the mages, but there was nothing. Just the open road and the allure of the unknown.
