It was late in the day, and I was walking to the mess hall to get some grub, Ana walking beside me. My thoughts were on earlier that day. Amaya came over and we had our fun together. During a downtime in our session, she advised that her aunt wanted to meet them at our next port in Sicily. I thought nothing of it and just nodded and said okay to most of her statements. She shared with me that her aunt has identified as a lesbian for the majority of her life, a situation that arose after experiencing abuse from a partner during her youth, and she has exclusively been in relationships with women ever since.
